What It Means To Be a Member of the WFMAF
WFMAF membership means that you belong to a recognized professional organization, which is built on the network and wealth of resources of our committees’ members, and many of whom hold nationally and internationally recognized master level certification in their fighting martial arts systems.
The WFMAF’s membership certificate with your name on it demonstrates your commitment to the practice, teaching, research, development, and promotion of martial arts, and it also shows people that you are officially recognized a reputable international nonprofit organization.
All individual members who hold a black belt in their martial arts system are eligible to apply for our belt ranking certification system, from 1st Dan to 9th Dan. Applicants will be tested and ranked under the supervision of the WFMAF’s Ranking Committee, and the committee officials are highly accomplished and renowned masters in their martial arts systems.
As a member of the WFMAF, you will be listed on our Members Listings page, with your basic credentials such as your full name or the name of your organization / school, contact information, individual or organization / school bio, and a link to your organization / school website. Having your organization / school website linked on our website (which is highly optimized with a large number of visitors) not only provides additional recognition, but it also helps your website to rank higher on search engines.
The WFMAF hosts and promotes several premier events in the U.S. annually. The US Open Martial Arts Championship is one of the international level martial arts competition events in the East Coast of the United States. Hosted in New York City, with beginner through elite competitors from around the world. The World Health and Longevity Forum is a platform for holistic health professionals to share their in-depth knowledge in the traditional approach to health & longevity in our modern society.
All WFMAF members receive a $20 discount to the Championship and the Health Forum, and is eligible to a free invitation letter to one of these events signed by the president of the events upon request. In addition, we host martial arts seminars taught by renowned martial artists in their fields, and we provide our members with discounted access to these seminars.
Organization / School members are eligible to publish any martial arts news, articles, and/or videos related to their organization or school on our blog and our official social media sites. The WFMAF website is highly optimized for search engine with a large number of visitors, so that your news, articles, and/or videos posted on our blog are easily discoverable by martial arts practitioners around the world.
