Shifu Henry J. Schmidt serves as a judge at the USOMACShifu Henry J. Schmidt is a black belt in Tai Chi Chuan and student of Grand Master Randy Elia. Shifu Schmidt has been studying directly under Grand Master Elia for 20 years at Peter Kwok’s Kung Fu Academy, Westwood, New Jersey. Shifu Schmidt is disciplined in various internal styles and many Shaolin forms and weapons. Henry is a member of the Guang Ping Yang Tai Chi association and has attended conferences in Pennsylvania and California. Additionally he is a 15 year member and 10 year competitor of the United States Kuo Shu Federation (USKSF) and attended the 2016 USKSF National Judge Certification training course. He has competed in various tournaments including being a 5 year competitor at the Hung Ga Wong Fei Hung All Kung Fu Tournament and North Jersey Chinese Martial Arts Tournament. He has been awarded gold, silver, and bronze metals with internal forms and weapons in all tournaments. In 2010, Shifu Schmidt was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors for “Outstanding Contributions to the Martial Arts” and has been a yearly attendant since.
