Chinese Lantern Festival Hosted by Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams, with martial arts demonstrations by the members of the WFMAF.

The Chinese Lantern Festival is postponed until further notice.

Join us to celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival at Brooklyn Bridge Park, NYC, February 21, 2016 (Sunday), with traditional food, lion dance, martial arts demonstrations, cultural dances, Chinese calligraphy, and lanterns. This event is hosted by the Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams, in partnership with Sino America New York Brooklyn Archway Association. The WFMAF is invited to participate at this festival to promote traditional martial arts and to showcase various styles of martial arts. Martial arts demonstrations include, lion dance, group Tai Chi, Kung Fu fan, Long Fist, San Da, Hung Gar, long staff, Shuai Jiao, Bak Mei, Snake vs. Eagle, Shotokan Karate, Bagua staff, Push Hands, Southern Broadsword, Fighting Set, and whip chain. The WFMAF would like to thank Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams, for this invitation and appreciates the opportunity to promote traditional martial arts to the people of the Brooklyn community.
