The Instructor Certification and its complementary training course is developed by the World Fighting Martial Arts Federation (WFMAF) to promote a unified standard for teaching martial arts at different environments, such as martial arts schools, community facilities, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, and universities. The WFMAF awards 3 levels of instructor certification: assistant instructor certification, instructor certification, and advanced instructor certification. The requirements specified below serves as guidelines for the instructor certification.

To apply for instructor certification, the applicant must be a member of the WFMAF and meet all the requirements for the level of instructor certification applying for. Instructor certification awarded by the applicant’s martial arts school or other reputable martial arts organizations will be evaluated and considered toward the grading of an applicant. The instructor certification is awarded to an applicant based on the applicant’s martial arts CV, completion of the Instructor Certification training course, and the applicant’s teaching ability in a demo environment provided by the WFMAF.
