Grandmaster Mei Huizhi is a renowned martial artist for his practical fighting skill. For over 20 years, he has dedicated himself in the teaching of Wushu Sanda. He has taught over 17,000 students at the famous Beijing Shichahai Sports School, and taught over 7,000 students in the China's Capital Police System, Armed Police Force, and the Central Security Bureau. Among his students, he has produced over 100 championships and won 11 team championships in national and international level Sanda competitions. Grandmaster Mei Huizhi currently serves as the Vice-Director of the Ranking and Certification Committee of the World Fighting Martial Arts Federation. 梅惠志大师是全国武林界享有盛名的武术技击家,他辛勤耕耘了三十多个春秋,培育数万名学生,可谓桃李满天下,为武术散打事业的发展做出了卓越贡献。北京武警散打教练黄建福,连续11次获得国际和全国冠军。首都北京是全国开展散手运动最早的地区之一。80年代初,国家体委在北京体院和武汉体院开始试点开展散手运动,在北京什刹海有一批武术的拓荒者,为散手运动的普及作出了积极的贡献。在这群人中,值得一提的就是被誉为北京散打第一人的梅惠志先生,在他的培养下,北京涌现出像:张新正、杜振高、马海松李京华陈顺强、杨广军、张力华、特学刚、李瑞东等几代优秀的散打运动员。梅惠志大师现任世界武术搏击联盟段位认证委员会副主任。 Grandmaster Mei Huizhi received special contribution plaque awarded by the WFMAF, presented by Professor Gulong and George Masone
