George Masone

Sifu George Masone, SFC USAR, RET, holds a Master of Arts Degree in Physical Education and Music from Adelphi University. He retired as a New York State Teacher after 28 years and was a member of the United States Army Reserve for 30 years. George learned informal self defense growing up in Brooklyn, East New York. He started formal training in Okinawa Kenpo under Master Teruyuki Higa in 1980. He lived in Taiwan from 1982-83 studying both Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do, where he received his first Black Belt from the Kukkiwon in Seoul Korea. After returning from Taiwan he studied Internal Martial Arts under BP Chan. While in Basic Training he won the Middleweight Boxing Title at Fort Dix NJ 1984. Sifu Masone received the Master of Medical Qigong certification in 2009 from the International Institute of Medical Qigong under Lisa Van Ostrand. He developed (CHEE) Chinese Health and Energy Exercise, a system that is suitable for Health or Self Defense.
